The Educational Version of the LCA Calculator has been developed which offer’s academic institutions as well as individual students the ability to integrate sustainable design into their curriculum or field of study. The tool has all the traits of the corporate version; however an academic license, which allows for 300 users, costs only £3000 (£10 per student.) The group sharing element to the tool will allow students to work in teams and cross examine data. The tool can be accessed from anywhere and there is no software to download. Results are instant and will make students think about sustainable design, which will impress employers on their CV.
